PRIVATE LANDOWNERS
WHYPLANT A
CARBON FOREST?
Trees purify our air by removing CO2 from the atmosphere, storing the carbon, and releasing the oxygen back into the air. Tree planting is globally recognized as one of the best nature-based solutions to reducing CO2 from the atmosphere. With carbon offset credits, you can earn money from trees that store CO2 on your land.

FAQ's
HOW MUCH WILL I BE PAID EACH YEAR?
Payment amounts are determined based on the amount of land, the forest type and the species of trees planted and growth projections for the forest. To get a sense of the income potential for your forest, fill out an Income Estimate Form.
WHAT ARE MY OBLIGATIONS?
Landowners must allow us access to the land at least once per year. You must agree not to harvest the forest for timber for a period of 100 years post-planting, and you must inform us of any events impacting the forest's growth or survival within one week of being aware of any occurrence.
